FDT and TCF sign MoU for operating two primary schools

The Faisalabad Development Trust (FDT) and The Citizen Foundation (TCF) have inked a MoU under which the former will bear the operational cost of two primary schools in Chak 209 (Kakuana) and primary school chak 242 (Dasua). FDT Chairman Mian Shaiq Javed and TCF Regional Director Mussadaq Zulqarnain signed the MoU.

Under the agreement, the FDT handed over a cheque of Rs3.3 million to TCF as operational cost of these schools.
On the occasion, the TCF Regional Director appreciated the FDT gesture and said that it was very much appreciable step by the trust to render financial help in the Education and Health Sectors.

He was pleased to learn that the FDT have donated more than Rs100 million for the promotion of health and educational facilities which included a grant of Rs3.3 million to most deserving students of the University of Agriculture, Rs1.8 million to 100 girl students of the GC University and Rs1 million to most deserving students of the National Textile University to pay off their fees.
