Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has started Special Quota Educational Scholarships for Intermediate and Graduation level students. Matric and inter candidates are invited to apply for the special quota scholarships.
Matric students can apply for the award of scholarship till Nov 26 while intermediate students can apply till Jan 10, 2014. Applications must be received at the mentioned address of PEEF.
The PEEF scholarships are being awarded under four classes and these are: Orphans, Children of government servants in BPS 1-4. Children of both serving and retired Govt. servants can apply, children of other religions and special children.
The advertisement has been issued and applicants can now apply directly. After that eligible and short list candidates will be reserved for the award of scholarship. The intimations letters and application forms will be sent at the given addresses of students. Applicants are needed to fill the form and send back to PEEF. The scholarships will be awarded category wise and on the basis of gender.
Candidates are eligible if they are residential of Punjab province, must obtain at least 60% marks in the annual exams of matriculation and intermediate under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education or Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, the source of monthly income is Rs 15000 or less.
Application forms can also be downloaded from the offices of Executive District Officer (Education), Deputy Director (colleges) or from the website of Punjab Educational Endowment Fund or Punjab BISEs or FBISE. The photocopy of application form can also be used.
All the application forms must reach the PEEF office before the last date.
