Federal Public Service Commission of Pakistan (FPSC)
The Public Service Commission was set up for the first time in British India in 1926. After independence, the Commission was established in Pakistan in 1947 under the provision of Government of India Act, 1935. At present, the commission is functioning under article 242 of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Punjab Public Service Commission of Pakistan (PPSC)
Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is the oldest Public Service Commission in the country and was established in April 1937 under the Government of India Act, 1935. The act was adapted in 1947 after independence. Its functions were defined explicitly in the1956 and 1962 constitutions as well.
Sindh Public Service Commission of Pakistan (SPSC)
The existing shape of Sindh Public Service is a derivative of Bombay Sindh Public Service Commission which has been modified from time to time to meet the needs of the Province.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service of Commission (NWFPPSC)
Public Service Commission, for the first time evolved under the Government of India Act, 1935. Subsequently, Federal Public Service Commission and Provincial Public Service Commissions established under Section 264 265 and 266 ibid of the Act.
Balochistan Public Service Commission of Pakistan (BPSC)
The Province of Balochistan came into being in 1970 on the dismemberment of One Unit, an administrative set up introduced by the then President of Pakistan. However, the Balochistan Public Service Commission (the Commission) came into existence on 13th August, 1973.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission of Pakistan (AJKPSC)
After the establishment of Azad Govt. of the State of Jammu & Kashmir since December 28, 1950, first Rules of Business has been implemented. Azad Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission launched according of these rules.
